[Gllug] RH 7.1 -> 7.2 upgrade problems

Having seen The Register, I am worried that my current problems are 
out of my control.

Problems remain with X11 and CDROM (cannot be seen after install).

Any thoughts? Should I go for clean 7.2 installed and disk 
repartition (which is overdue anyway:-)
