[Gllug] Linux dedicated hosting

I want a hosted Linux server. I was looking at uk2.net, but I can only
see those nasty[1] Cobalt Raq servers after the site redesign.

UK2 - feel free to mail me offlist, I can't see a link on the site, and
I've lost (aka deleted) the mails from a while ago.

Ideally, I want a hosted server where I get given an IP address and root
password, and then it's up to me what I do with it (I'm not going to be
doing porn/warez/mp3 etc)

Cheap would be nice. It's for a start-up firm (not mine..!) so immediate
requirements aren't huge, mainly apache, PHP, mySQL, and some custom coded
apps. Scalability could be an important requirement, so any firm offering
low entry packages that are easily upgraded would be a bonus.

Any recommendations?

Lee

[1] - personally, I don't rate the Cobalt RaQ's, but then, I worked for a
hosting company and had to support the damn things... However, thats my
opinion, I'm not trying to start a flame war.
