Ah. In which case, yes, you can. Configure the printer on the "hosting"
machine as a normal remote printer (i.e., with rp=<printer_name> in
/etc/printcap). Then just get your clients to use the Unix box as the
remote printer, rather than the real printer itself. Whether or not
Samba supports reordering of jobs in the queue or not, I couldn't say.
But even if it does, I'd expect the printer to offer you the same
support natively (or am I just being naive here?)
