Erm?

"Because multi-threading isn't built into the core of Linux, customers
must look for third-party products and then spend time integrating
and testing the implementation. If a multi-threading solution is
found, how well will the developer support continue to enhance the
 product?"

My response (apart from hammering the blatant lie):

Because a decent text editor isn't built into the core of Windows,
customers must look for third-party products and then spend time
integrating and testing the implementation. If a text editing
solution is found, how well will the developer support continue and
what happens when you don't have the source code?

Erm?

"Microsoft has a consistent vision for its products, and a roadmap of
features and enhancements planned for future release."

Cases in point:

* The Microsoft Network -- better than the Internet.
* MS promised a version of Internet Explorer for Linux in 1996 or 1997
(can't remember exactly). Still haven't seen that one!

Huh?

"Linux supports only 960 megabytes (MG), of RAM - with support for
additional memory requiring recompiling and adding patches"

I'm sure your server appliance developers will have a lot of trouble
running make config and turning large memory support on. Of course
they'll have no problem with Microsoft's device driver API.

Great one!

"Linux-based NAS appliances simply do not have the vast base of robust
and powerful anti-virus software that would be available with a
 Windows 2000 server appliance."

Nor does Linux have the vast base of robust and powerful viruses that
would be available on a Windows 2000 server appliance.

Hmmm.. Well that filled a few bored minutes at work.
