As we know; the whole reason that the grey hat community release
exploits is the bitter experience that if they don't, M$ (and the
proprietary UNIX vendors, to a degree) simply will not fix problems
immediately, preferring to delay them to a service pack or equivalent
and minimally (or not at all) document the fact that the hole is fixed
- never mind if the black hats have the exploit.

So there's no doubt about this. If M$ don't want exploits released,
they need to restore their own reputation.
