You're only likely to want to do this if you have only one machine and
never, ever run remote X apps, because it means you'll have to restart
the server to run them (although ssh tunnelling *might* let you sneak
some in). I don't know how common this is, but I know that since I got a
network I've never *not* run remote X apps...
(hell, this Emacs is a remote X app! :) )
