A few of us have got together to organise a workshop
on LDAP on Tuesday 20th.
This is not a GLLUG 'event', though I expect many of
you will be interested and I hope you all come along.
We need your support - no matter what your level of
knowledge.
If no-one turns up, the event will be a flop - so
at least come along for a beer!

What - LDAP Lightweight Directory Access Protocol.

Date - Tuesday 20th November

Time - 7.00pm onwards

Location - downstairs gallery,
The Foundry, 84-86 Great Eastern Street, London EC2
           http://www.ellipsis.com/foundry/
           http://www.tantallon.org.uk/pubs/london/foundry.html

Format - the format will consist of three or four very short
case studies, followed by longer round-table discussions.
There should be something for everyone, from the complete
novice to the experienced administrator.

Followed by - a few beers, and maybe a curry.

Who - myself, Jim and Simon from Lateral,
James Hobson from SAGE-WISE.
Roger from SuSE will be coming along.

Volunteers - if anyone would like to do a 10 or 15 minute long piece on
LDAP, or an LDAP project which they have been involved with,
please drop me an email.

The Foundry is easy to get to from Old Street station (Northen Line),
and a slightly longer walk from Liverpool Street (numerous lines) From
Old Street tube, just head east down Old Street, and you should see it
after a short walk (a couple of minutes).
