Having mentioned on this mailing list that I'd subscribed to Linux User but not got my free book, I was contacted by one of their members of staff who put in a word to the right people. All of two days later, there's 'Linux in a Nutshell' sitting on my desk...

Hurrah for Linux User, hurrah for O'Reilly's (who actually do the sending out of the books) and hurrah for the GLLUG mailing list. Boo for the postman who left the package on my doorstep, but that's another matter... ;-)
