I got a fairly cheap camera from morgan computers (£100 ish serial not usb)

I think it's a minolta dc10 ?

its OK - my main gripe is that there is a delay of a few seconds bettwen me
pressing the button and the picture being taken :-(
I have heard of other people having this problem but this is not a factor I
have seen reviewed anywhere.

the camera works fine with gphoto though - if I get another I'd probably chech
gphoto support first (my camera stores time/date info but I don't seem to get this
with either M$ or gnu)

If you haven't used a digital camera before I'd recomend tryingto borrow one before buying
I was suprised how different they are from normal cameras
