Indeed. I've been looking at replacing some of our costly Sparc servers
with Intel equivalents running Linux and BSD. But without a serial port
to allow remote management in the event of a network failure, it's just
simply not an option.

The floppy can go. I haven't used one in years, except to kick off the
OpenBSD install. But I *need* serial ports.
