I'm just a humble modem dialup user, and of recent date (last 3-4 weeks)
the service has not been as good as it was previously. The service is
__extremely__ patchy, and I can't consistently get IP coming up quickly on the
ppp link. Quite often, the remote end "goes deaf" and my pppd can't
get low-level responses from the remote end.

I can get on the Web, but the time over which the connection is at all good
is extremely limited (usually about 5 Minutes). At present, I am using Demon
to get email, and am using another ISP to do surfing &&c. It's very difficult
to get a full feed from gllug before demon pulls the plug!!
I am extremely disappointed with Demon's performance of late, as I have been
a long-time customer of them, and previously their performance has always been
satisfactory. I was considering using them for setting up a broadband link,
but believe that I may well have to look elsewhere.
