A team of cannibal programers start at a company and after a week their boss
comes in and says "You've all done really well and we'd like you to become
permanent. We'll get in as much food as you like but don't eat any of the

A couple of months go by and all is well until one day the boss comes back
and goes off on one, "Which one of you ate the cleaner! We invite you to
work here and this is how you repay us" etc etc and after a rant they all
shake heads and say it wasn't them. He calms down and backs out feeling
guilty.

The head Cannibal-programmer then said "Right, which one of you dumb gits
ate the cleaner?" One of the coders sticks his hands up and the head coder
says "For months we've eaten project managers, documentation writers and QA
and no one noticed and then you have to go and fuck it up by eating a
cleaner!"
