I have a Demon account and I access pop3 email using username
"paul+domain" where "domain" is my Demon domain name. This is so other
people can download their pop3 email for the same domain from other
computers.
With uklinux, is this possible? I have upgraded so I should be able to
connect to pop3.uklinux.net from a different account. But would I just
use the domain name and password which would download all usernames? I
want to be able to download say fred at sample.uklinux.net to one machine
and alice at sample.uklinux.net from another.
The only drawback with the Demon approach is that each user has the same
password. But then I suppose it's to dissuade several people from using
a single Demon account.
Is this something that procmail does i.e. selectively download pop3
email? or is procmail just for the "client" end?
Do I need to use SMTP instead?
