IMHO The middle eastern countries in  question don't want peace.  In 
fact i think what will happen now is that they will  use this to their 
advantage,  and try to play countries off  against each  other.

If by that you mean searching people before they go on a plane, i dont 
see how that is an invation of privacy  as long as you give them an 
option of getting searched or not getting let through.

Any idea how bad this is going to effect the economy as a whole?
