Which they do in a very understandable yet legally liable way.  I always 
make the distinction between being Unix and being Unix-like as there are 
so many valid reasons for remaining aware of the point.  Not least of 
which is that there are several freenixes which *can* legitimately call 
themselves Unices and we should be respectful to them (and their users) 
in their dotage.
