Actually, I grew up on CPM-type machines and Acorn BBC's so it wasn't a
horrific concept - but I had no information as to what commands might be
available. A 'readme' on the install media would have helped, but I didn't
know how to find it. No option to wiew it during install and no suggestion as
to how to view it after, either.
I am technically literate, but initially restricted by my background (I have
always considered Win... inferior, and have never liked Seattle, but
alternatives have only recently made the effort, learning curve etc.

I'm sure they do, and I would thank them for that. If you can tell me how to
make the KDE mail client format quotes correctly, I will - because I hate the
incorrect punctuation. Did someone say W... had NO redeeming features? Seems
to me Word gets that right straight off.
