Not much good unless you are willing to contract for a minimum term and 
you have some right to install and keep the connection there.

Then again if you had the connection in there you could resell 
connectivity via it for functions etc.

For course all this is dependant upon a local exchange being both close 
enough and already DSL enabled. While the former is possible the latter 
isn't too likely.
