[Gllug] Guerilla marketing to webmasters?

This turned up in my web server logs.

80.133.24.112 - - [16/Aug/2002:19:18:23 +1000] "HEAD / HTTP/1.0" 200 0
          "http://internetconferences.nl/index.html" "Mozilla/4.0
(Search Engine Marketing Tactics Amsterdam 2002 Information Spider)"

The only thing I can think of is that someone is trying to get the
attention of webmasters through their web server logs. If so, it's an
incredibly clever way of doing it!

Am I correct in my guess at what this is? I certainly have nothing to
do with the requested web server...
