I guess the obvious candidates are DNS and firewalling. Can you access
external sites via IP? For example, does:

	nc -nzvv 195.200.0.8 80

list an open port? If so, then it's probably just a DNS problem.
If not, then fire up ethereal, and try and see what's happening
to your outgoing packets. Try pointing a browser at:

	http://192.168.1.1

which will probably get you a web administration interface for
your ADSL router. Check to see if there's anything on that that
may be blocking your outgoing traffic.

What does traceroute show you?
