I shouldn't boast, but I remember yea long time ago being at a reception
in the House of Commons, and having a talk with the then chairman of the
parliamentary IT committee (PITCOM). He was easy to talk with, and
enthusiastic about the prospects for high-bandwidth networking.
So in my limited experience, the people at the top are interested in
what we have to say. I suppose the problem is being able to get in
contact with them.
