I don't get on well with the BBC player, functions like 'Pause', which is 
handy to have, don't seem to work on my system, but then, I am using 
Konqueror to browse.

I do use Realplayer, but just enter the location of the file I want to 
listen to:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/rpms/latejunction_wed.rpm

gets me to the listen again file for Wednesday's Late Junction.
