[Gllug] RH 8 and scannner and modem

I use RH8 and I have got a Epson Scanner Perfection 1250 USB. 
Unfortunately to be able to use it (as root or a user) I always have to
log in as a root and launch "modprobe scanner vendor=0x04b8
product=0x010f" first. 

Is it possible to load this automatically when I start my computer?
