[Gllug] Installing on a laptop

Hi
I have been trying to install Linux onto a Laptop.  With some help from
Formi yesterday, I got further than before, but it is not connecting to the
network.
The network card is a Xircom Realport PC card.  The install didnt recognise
it and asked me to select a driver.  But xircom wasnt on the list.  How can
I get round this.

I have plugged it into my LAN that has a DHCP server, but I suspect the
problems are more basic than that.
I was using Mandrake 8.2 (because that was availalbe yesterday) but am open
to other posibilities.
