Yes I went for the 800 cos I decided CPU power ( for Mame / snes9x
really ) was more important to me than a little noise ... and it is
still pretty quiet. There is some hum from it but definetly a lot less
that of my desktop.

I just got the cheapy grey / silver case there. It does seem well
made and everything fitted no problem ( it fits a full size DVD/CDROM
drive, rather than other which only fit a slim line cdrom ).

Oh and for your amusement - here's a shot of its output connected to

As you can see unfortunately the X tvout drivers still need a little
work. But epia have made all the specs available so I guess its only a
matter of time till some kind soul sorts this out.
