You could always use the set of stressing tools available.

SSL Stress Client:  http://sslclient.sourceforge.net
Smpop: http://www.pfy.nl/smpop/

Or the real cool one
Stress: http://weather.ou.edu/~apw/projects/stress/

stress --loadavg 40
Will give a CPU loading of 40%
stress --hogdisk 10000m test
Will produce a 10GB file on a HD.

Of course if you use any of these as a DoS attack on me I will be upset!
