[Gllug] Linux or GNU/Linux?

Most people work in applications, the shell, X, the desktop etc

Very few hack kernels, and that proportion will get smaller as Linux 
grows in use as a popular system (surely the desired end).

So, Linux is that "small" bit in the middle of the GNU/Linux system, 
the kernel and all kernel code (comms, filestore etc).

Agreed, GNU would be nothing without a kernel.
