Stick this in your ~/.muttrc

macro compose S "Fgpg --clearsign\ny" "clearsign message"

Just hit S in the "about to send" window and your message will be
clearsigned, which is the old style.

Note however that this style is strongly deprecated and the only way to
get broken non-MIME compliant mailers to support the new style is to
send them it :)p

You processes _outgoing_ mail through procmail?

Note, this email is clearsigned using the macro above.
