Not needed. All this does is install Compaq's partition for BIOS
stuff, and allows for SNMP monitoring if you've got Compaq's
monitoring station. It gives you access to a few minor RAID
configuration utilities (and, of course, a GUI), but you can
get pretty much everything you need done from the standard BIOS
anyway.

Not a problem if you don't run SmartStart...
