http://www.mplayerhq.hu/homepage/ IIRC - streams and plays from local
files - text mode and X based UI - libSDL rendering and generally
allroung good sport, comes with it's own codec's (so no need for
avifile) - I find it has problems with the VERY latest DivX codec, but
that could be just me.
