I do have fun when I go back to my hometown and hear the
absolutely "odd" pronunciations.
Because in many latino languages you just pronunciate exactly
what it is written, and therefore there is no chance of more
than one way of saying the same word.
May seem boring, but to learn how to read kids only need to get
how to pronunciate the letters, and three or four rules.
Letter "a" has one sound, that is it. The same applies to almost all
of them.
Nothing of this applies to french, of course.
