The only advice I'd give is to go with LILO, not GRUB as your boot
loader. GRUB doesn't seem to want to play nicely with our Compaq RAID
controllers, while LILO does...

Other than that, it should be a pretty straightforward install. I just
wish Compaq made equipment that fitted in a standard 19" rack...
