well, having recently played with LVM, i'd have to say i hope its more
reliable than that. having just lost 36Gig of striped data. luckily i
didnt give a toss about it.
i've used both UX, and AIX, which i believe have elements of vxfs in
them. always been very impressed about how well they worked, and how
easy they are to setup during install, and afterwards.

hmm, i think i'd consider going with a company with a track record...
but at the same time, closed source drivers sounds like the sort of
thing which maybe tied closely to a kernel rev. i'm not to keen on
things which force you to use one vendors particvular version of the
kernel. but heck veritas seem to know what they're doing, so i'm sure
its not.
