have you seen the Tivo hacking FAQ ??

I wsa very intersted in the Tivo a while ago - but now I'm more
interested in the http://www.linuxtv.org/ project ...

especially as linux support for the Hapguage terrestial digital card is
now in existance (looks early beta though)

This way you get to record stuff to CD, and no privacy issues (not keen
on a marketing company getting my TV viewing habits)

as for the listsings download - that is perfect for a dmoz style project :)
