Overall the system that I have is a Dell Dimension 8100, Pentium IV 1.7Ghz
processor, 1Gb (RDRAM) RAM, ACARD Ultra160 PCI SCSI controller, Netgear
FX11 fast ethernet card, one Pinacle firewire card (which comes with Adobe
Premiere 6.0 - MUCH cheaper buying Premiere this way than buying the
bloody software seperately), and a Geoforce 2 GTS AGPx2 graphics card.

I currently have a 40Gb ATA100 hard drive in the HD bay. Room for one
more hard drive on top of that (although I'll be buggered if I can figure
out how to remove the right side panel of the case!). Three spare 5 and a
quarter inch drive bays, and one combo Samsung DVD-ROM/CD Rewriter
occupying the top drive bay.

The current hard drive is split across Windows XP and Red Hat Linux 7.2.
I need at least 70Gb to do decent editing (namely my wedding and honeymoon
videos which occupy the best part of 15 hours worth of DV film which I
need to trim down into something much more watchable that won't bore
everybody to tears).

Regards,

	Martyn
