One of my cards is a 10Mb but still no problems although I was playing
around with it an started some applet or other and ended up with the entire
Gnome desktop on my PC which was rather laborious over the 10Mb link. So
another upgrade is required. I believe we have some nice lucent WDM muxes in
town I may borrow one to see if this gives me better performance.
