Hi all

I have been looking at SCSI Cards and have seen the following on sale in
various places and was wondering if anyone had seen them any cheaper and if
so where.

The following cards here at $214 and $245 looked lovely.

Advansys 3950 U160 Dual Channel SCSI Controller PCI. Cheap but I have seen
better cards.

The U3D series looks nice as well.

I have been umming and ahhing about SCSI for a long time and have finally
committed to a SCSI CD/WR. I am sure that Tekram use the LSI Logic's chipset
for most if not all of their cards. I have also had a look on
www.pricewatch.com and seen some very cheap deals for some of the LSI cards
but I am unsure if the companies can be trusted. The $214 LSI card can be
found for $155 on pricewatch. Any thoughts on my folly warmly welcomed as I
need to have this machine built before February. Anyone for the fairs on
Saturday.

Regards;
Harry Jackson.
