[Gllug] AMD Dual Processor

Hi

I noticed an earlier post mentioned usage of an AMD dual-cpu motherboard.
Questions:
Which motherboard ? (mfr/type)
Is it running Linux with full multiprocessor support (I presume so)
using MPS 1.1 or 1.4 ?


We are currently running a 400Mhz dual Intel P2 Asus mobo under SCO Opensewer
5.0.4 and are considering:
a) upgrading to an AMD based dual cpu motherboard (possibly ASUS A7M266D)
b) moving over eventually to Linux


The problem is that I don't want to buy a board and cpu's and then discover for
some exotic reason it won't run under Openserver, since the simplest initial
route is to move over the current discs to a new machine. Moving directly to
Linux would involve a lot of work first.

So, if anyone has any experience with AMD dual-processor boards which might
assist me, I should be grateful
