Also, this would cause problems to those of us that subscribe
to separate lists as separate aliases, for example I use 
gllug at gorge.org, but post from flash at ... another list I am on
has both a "read" and a "post" list, which suits me fine.

(Before you start, yes I do know about procmail, but I LIKE the
way I sign up to things and my .forward file is huge and unwieldy
already!)
