I wouldn't share kernel images - just have separate entries in lilo for
/boot/bzImage-rh and /boot/bzImage-deb or something.

I probably will be building kernels from source but I was thinking I'd
have separate source trees for each distro. Although thinking about it
it would be nice to have a shared /usr/src/ partition if possible.
