Which logs?  The ones on the dhcp box or the ones on the client
workstation?  How did you configure the network interface?  How did you
configure the dhcp server?  ***insufficient data***

One way to test your dhcp set-up is to bring the interface on the
workstation up and down, then check the logs on both.  dhcpd will
normally log each application/renewal.
