[Gllug] Mutt: "PGP signature could NOT be verified."

I get this message in the bottom little status area when I view a PGP
signed message. Doesn't matter who it's from, even my own messages
which (one would hope) have a trusted signature.
Here's how I invoke GPG:
# verify a pgp/mime signature
set pgp_verify_command="gpg --no-verbose --batch --output - --verify %s %f"
So what gives? It's not a huge problem but it's kinda silly.
