Yes and don't believe them, I got shagged with this a few years ago when
they changed half the machine going between cpu speeds :)

When I bought it there were just OSS drivers for the sound card and apm was
slightly dodgy, two years down the line I have all the bits working on it,
with recent kernels you can even play with the fan speeds...
