[Gllug] nvidia drivers

I am trying to install the nvidia drivers on my debian box because I
think this is what is stopping X from working. I downloaded the source
and it will not build because I did not have the kernel headers. I then
got the kernel headers for 2.4.16-k7 and tried again but still no joy
becaue it wants a file stringify.h which is not included in my headers.


What do I have to do to get it working. Do I need to install a new
kernel and if so can someone tell me what package I can use to do this.
I have not seen any 2.4.18 source kernels in dselect against unstable.
