It's actually quite useful for corresponding with one person, because
you can easily see the whole conversation (relying on the fact that most
people don't bother editing it at all) but I'm much happier with the

of quoting for most purposes, such as mailing lists.... not least
because you are reminded of the point being discussed rather than having
to scan down and then back up as in this message ;-)

AH a fellow sufferer, GW is a tad short on the nice touches like
individually marked  as quoted lines. It just does this everything after
this line

 is a quote, might be good for VERY short mails but for longer
discussions with lots of points it is totall inadequate.
