[Gllug] floppy disc access

Not a silly question, I think you might be onto something George.
The curious thing (amongst other things) is that this Compaq Deskpro
in question no longer allows me to access the BIOS settings on bootup.
There does seem to be a precedent for this.

Thanks to Steve and Chris for their replies as well.

I'm pretty sure I swapped the floppy (originally 1st) with the cdrom
(originally 3rd) on the start-up sequence for booting, so I may have
some trouble sorting this out :-).
