Yes, it is unreliable... but then, so is a pager. We currently have both
pagers and mobile phones. I'd rather just have to carry around a phone.
I was under the impression that pagers had latency/delivery time guarantees
that phones didn't. However, when I checked with Vodafone paging, they
told me that wasn't true, and that a phone was just as reliable as a pager.
