[Gllug] Console resolution problem

Hi everybody,

 I have made the move to X 4.2, where I am using the vesa driver,
 the trident driver for the CyberMedia 9382 just doesn't work.

 The problem is that when I change to the console with Alt Fn the
 resolution is still 800x600 resulting in part of the output
 being hidden. Which is highly annoying. This also happens when
 I quit X.

 I can get back by typing:

 consolechars -f /usr/lib/kbd/consolefonts/lat0-08.psf.gz
 consolechars -f /usr/lib/kbd/consolefonts/lat0-10.psf.gz
 consolechars -f /usr/lib/kbd/consolefonts/lat0-08.psf.gz

 The three of them are needed, two won't solve it.

 Any ideas,
