I had a quick look at it, and didn't think that much of it.

We are really looking for automated tools for installs and
configurations of many nodes.

The kickstart generator is just a small part of this -
as I say, it takes a standard template, but has hooks in it
to our hardware database, so it uses some knowledge about the node.
