Well I had to install a few things (libtiff3g-dev libjpeg62-dev libpng-dev
xlib6g-dev and gcc) because this a server not a dev box :-)
But I got this at the end of: ./configure --enable-graphics

checking for util/application.h... no
updating cache ./config.cache
creating ./config.status
creating Makefile
creating config.h
---------------------------------------------------------
Configuration results:

GPM support: NO
SSL support: NO
Javascript enabled: NO
Graphics enabled: YES
Graphics drivers: X
Image formats: GIF PNG XBM JPEG TIFF
xterm for OS/2 support: NO
"links" executable: dynamic
---------------------------------------------------------

which looks right so maybe your missing something.
Anyway, it went on to compile fine.
At what point were you getting seg-faults etc...
Steve
