There was an article in yesterday's Guardian IT section on LAMP (Linux,
Apache, MySQL, Perl/PHP/Python) versus the MS webserver edition.

A well balanced article, and the Cobalt RAQs are worthy devices.
I admiit though that a hardware box is not what you are proposing.
